Randy Keil 2021 Firefighter of the year

Each year, the members of the Shawnee Heights Fire District nominate members for the firefighter of the year. They then vote on the nominee. Firefighter/EMT Randy Keil was selected as the 2021 Firefighter of the Year.  Randy joined the Shawnee Heights Fire District 0n August 27th 1997.  He has been a dependable asset to the district and can be relied on to make calls anytime day or night.

Randy retired from the Shawnee County Parks and Rec where he worked at the Lake Shawnee Golf Course for most, if not all of his career with the county.

In his spare time he enjoys golfing, taking cruises, and driving his sports car with the top down.

After all of his years of service this is his first time being voted Firefighter of the Year.
